Some folks I’ve worked with

My speaking topics include but aren’t limited to:

Imposter Syndrome

Do you ever feel like no matter how many accomplishments you attain or how smart you are that eventually, someone’s gonna find you out? Imposter Syndrome is a real thing and I want to talk to you about how to overcome it.

pursuing your passion

The first step in pursuit is to set your aim. How do you discover that thing that sets your soul on fire and go after it? Let’s talk about it.

pain and purpose

If anyone is acquainted with pain it is me. After going through an abusive marriage, divorce, and nearly losing a child I was able to use those situations to steer me towards my purpose. You can too. Let me show you how.

Advocacy

There are many things in our society that are simply not right. Who is speaking out on behalf of others? It’s okay to let your voice be heard. Let’s talk about the right way to advocate so your voice can reach the right places.

Failing Forward

Ever wonder why failure is shunned when we’re young and celebrated when we’re older? How can we change the narrative for everyone and learn to embrace failure by choosing to fail forward? Let’s talk about it.

Balance

As a wife, mom, community leader, and many other “things” I often am asked how I manage to do it all. There is something to be said about priorities, passion, and balance. If we listen, our bodies tell us when something is not in alignment. I want to talk to you about how to strike the right balance for you.

Tapping into Your Power

Power is not just for the wealthy. Power is not just for your boss. Power is not just for older folks. The truth is we ALL have power and can make a world-changing impact once we learn how to tap into it.

Girl Talk

Hey girl, can we talk about it? Can we talk about the things that bug us? Can we talk about the things that make us tick? Let’s do it. From jealousy to job hunting to going through life’s changes, I have something to say about it all and I bet you do too. Invite me to come to talk to your girls, teens, or women’s group. I’d love to.

For Working Moms

Hey mama, you feeling that mom guilt? The truth is, not everyone has the ability or desire to stay at home with the kids. I’ve been in the corporate space, been on maternity leave, had to pump in a restroom, leave a meeting to care for a sick kid, and I’ve had the opportunity to stay at home and watch them grow up. I’ve got a few pieces of advice for working moms. Want to hear it?

Caring for the Caregiver

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that I would be in a position to take care of a critically ill child… much less my own. The life of a caregiver is filled with many things. We are always on alert and we often put ourselves last. The question is, who is caring for the caregiver? Let’s talk about how we as caregivers can take care of ourselves and allow others to care for us.

You Belong Here

Ever walk into a room and find yourself the only female in the bunch or person of color? Do you ever feel as if you don’t belong? Whether it be work, church, conferences, etc. you must overcome the feeling of not deserving to be where you are. I’ve got some news for you. You belong here. If no one makes room for you, create a space for yourself and take a seat.

Don’t see the right topic for your event but you still want me to come? Let’s do it! I can talk about ANYTHING.
